M109  Spiral Galaxy

M109 Spiral Galaxy

This is a barred Spiral Galaxy located  in the region of Ursa Major.  It is quite dim.  My exposure was not long enough to bring out the nodules that exist in the arms.

Telescope: RC10" with .75x reducer      Camera:ST8XE AntiBlooming             

Exposure Time: 2bin 40 minutes

Processing: Flats, Darks, etc; Maxim,reduced, DDP, Adobe combined.  Poor seeing conditions of about 5 arcseconds.  Clouds moved in before I could get color components.
