M16- Eagle Nebula

M16 in False Color The Eagle Nebula was made famous by the Hubble Nebula. The Hubble took a wide field image (which is still 1/10th the size of this picture) with a set of filters that only transmitted the sulfur, hydrogen alpha and oxygen spectrum. This picture was done the same way with red being mapped to Sulphur, Green to Hydrogen Alpha, and Blue with OIII.
