Waxing Moon

Waxing Moon:
A waxing moon happens at the next phase after a new moon. The phases of the moon are as follows:
New moon - waxing moon - first quarter - waxing gibbous - full moon - waning gibbous - last quarter - waning crescent. The moon as it approaches the horizon turn a bit reddish at this stage. It is the closest celestial object to the Earth.
